The
Reclamation Project's adopt-a-seedling campaign allows people to participate in the coastal eco-art initiative by having mangrove seedlings planted in Biscayne Bay in someone's honor for a small donation. Individuals have adopted seedlings in honor of friends, family members, inspiring individuals, businesses, themselves, and those that have passed away. These individuals are honored on this website.
You can take part in honoring a mangrove seedling planting for a special person or yourself for only $25. Your donation to the
Reclamation Project at the Miami Science Museum funds eco-art aimed towards restoring South Florida's native habitats.
On September 28, 2008, Reclamation Project volunteers will plant seedlings in Biscayne Bay in honor of the following individuals.
