The United Way of Martin County named Ginger Outstanding Volunteer of the Year for Arts and Culture. The Martin Chapter of the National League of American Pen Women honored her as Woman of the Year for her outstanding contribution to her community. The Lighthouse Center for the Arts created the Ginger Baldwin Innovation in Art Award for their Annual Community Students Exhibition. In 2006, Ginger received the “Marti Award” from the MC Arts Council for her history of supporting arts and culture. She is credited for being the driving force behind the revitilization of the historic lyric Theater.
