Konstantine Meets with Kathleen to Discuss Objectives

On September 5th, Konstantine met Kathleen to outline the objectives of the project, which include planting twelve native trees at the school, implementing the importance of native plants such as mangroves in classroom lecture, and distributing native trees and flags to the students to display in their community.  Kathleen gave Konstantine a short tour of the school and suggested possible areas for the native tree garden while bringing him up to date on the student’s relative knowledge and interest in the environment.  It appeared that the students would be willing learners when the science education intern was ready to meet them.
