Your tax-deductible donation will support the Reclamation Project exhibits at the museum, increasing awareness about the importance of mangrove and native tree reforestation in South Florida and providing a way for the community to participate in restoring the region's native environments.

Adopt a seedling

Mangrove planted in you name on Biscayne Bay ($25)

Make a lasting contribution to the Reclamation Project at the Miami Science Museum by adopting a mangrove seedling. For $25, you can donate to the Reclamation Project and have one of the museum's 1,100 mangrove seedlings planted in your or another's name.  The honoree will be listed on our website.


Membership
 

Member of the Reclamation Project ($140)
Member receives voucher for one free native tree and flag from the museum store and sponsors the planting of a mangrove seedling on Biscayne Bay.

One adult receives
 as well as unlimited free admission to the Museum & Planetarium, free or discounted admissions to 270+ partner science centers, 25% discount on the purchase of up to 4 guest passes per visit, 10% discount at Museum Store, member publications, invitations to members-only and special events, and 20% off admission to Miami MetroZoo and Seaquarium with card.


Donor Levels and Benefit

Contributor ($250)
sponsors the planting of 10 native trees and flags

Contributors receive above member benefits for up to two adults, up to four children or grandchildren under the age of 18, priority booking of birthday parties at the Museum, and discounted rate on Museum’s Summer Camp, plus $75 off Summer Camp class, invitation to VIP/Museum receptions, 10% off birthday parties and facility rentals, tote bag, t-shirt, and 2 guest passes.

Donor ($500)
sponsors the planting of 20 native trees and flags

Contributor benefits, plus an additional $25 off Summer Camp class, a gift Family membership for a friend or family member, and behind the scenes tour of exhibits.

Benefactor ($1,000)
sponsors the planting of 40 native trees and flags

Donor benefits, plus recognition on the Museum’s Donor Board, an additional $50 off Summer Camp class, an additional 10% off birthday parties and facility rentals, an additional gift Family membership for a friend or family member, $50 donation to the Reclamation Project Scholarship Fund, lunch with the Museum President and Xavier Cortada.


Reclamation Project Sponsors: "Adopt a school"

Sponsor the planting of a native garden at a local school to include twelve native trees, twelve flags, interpretive signage, and native saplings with flags for participating students. Sponsor will be recognized and at the planting ceremony and sponsor logo will be displayed on sign at school garden, plus recognition  on the Museum’s Donor Board.
 

Sponsor ($2500)
Adopts
one (1) school's native garden and sponsors the planting of 60 native trees and flags

Sponsors receive Benefactor benefits, an additional $100 off Summer Camp class, an additional 20% off birthday parties and facility rentals, and an additional gift Family membership for a friend or family member.

 

Silver sponsor ($5,000)
Adopts two (2) school's native garden and sponsors the planting of 120 native trees and flags

Silver sponsor receives Sponsor benefits, recognition at two schools, and lunch with the Museum President and Xavier Cortada along with a signed and numbered limited edition lithograph.
 

Gold Sponsor ($10,000)
Adopts four (4) schools' native gardens and sponsors the planting of 240 native trees and flags 

Gold sponsor receives silver sponsor benefits, recognition at four schools, plus an additional $200 off Summer Camp class, an additional 20% off birthday parties and facility rentals, an additional gift Family membership for a friend or family member, lunch with the Museum President and Xavier Cortada along with a one-of-a-kind digital painting.


* $10 off listed price for students, teachers, military, police officers, firefighters and EMTs with student or professional identification. Note: One additional adult can be added onto any of the Membership levels, except for the Individual Membership level, for an additional $30.
